The 2010 G-20 Toronto summit was the fourth meeting of the G-20 heads of government. They came together to discuss the global financial system and the world economy, which took place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, during June 26–27, 2010. Twenty-one representatives of the G-20 major economies came together in Toronto. In addition, leaders of six invited nations and eight intergovernmental organizations participated in the summit.

It followed the first G-20 Leaders Summit on Financial Markets and the World Economy, which was held in Washington, D.C. on 14–15 November 2008. Heads of government or heads of state from the Group of Twenty Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (G-20), plus some regional and international organisations attended.

2009 — 35th G8 summit






The 35th G8 summit took place in the city of L'Aquila, Abruzzo, Italy, on July 8–10, 2009. It was moved from the Sardinian seaside city of La Maddalena as part of an attempt to redistribute disaster funds after the 2009 L'Aquila earthquake.
