Mission: Spread scientific knowledge about the biology of reptiles and amphibians as well as promote their conservation, protection and further study. This serves to spread the word for this organization and will hopefully inspire others to become members and help contribute to the growth and development of the field.

About: The Amphibian Specialist Group strives to conserve biological diversity by stimulating, developing, and executing practical programs to conserve amphibians and their habitats around the world.
Mission: The Amphibian Specialist Group strives to conserve biological diversity by stimulating, developing, and executing practical programs to conserve amphibians and their habitats around the world. This is achieved by supporting a global web of partners to develop funding, capacity and technology transfer to achieve shared, strategic amphibian conservation goals.


2008 — Amphibian Ark • Year of the Frog




Amphibian Ark, a global conservation organization created to raise awareness and rally fundraising to protect endangered amphibian species, announced last week the commencement of its 5 for Frogs campaign. 5 for Frogs is a grassroots crusade with the goal of raising $500,000 to save five endangered species in five months.
